Man who impersonated EFCC boss bags 3-yr jail term

 A High Court in Kano State, presided over by Justice Farouq Lawal, has convicted and sentenced one Daniel Okpara to three years imprisonment for impersonating the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde.

A statement by head, media and publicity of the anti-graft agency’s, Wilson Uwujaren, in Abuja, said the convict allegedly opened a Facebook account, presenting himself as the executive chairman of EFCC and began to solicit and collect money from job-seekers, under the pretext of offering them employment at the commission.
