Man stabs 15-year-old brother to death over house chores

What kind of anger could make one hurt one's blood? A 23-year-old man has been arrested on charges of murder after he allegedly stabbed his teen brother in the chest because he refused to do his chores, Israel Police said.

The Ashdod Police Department said that they arrested the 23-year-old man on Tuesday, after being accused of killing his 15-year-old brother during an argument.



During questioning, the suspect admitted to the murder. The suspect told police that the fight began after his brother refused to do a chore in the home located on Bavli Street.

“He refused to answer me so I took a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the chest,” the suspect told police. Their younger sister witnessed the murder.

The parents were not home at the time of the incident. Neighbors of the suspect told police that he is a very rude and nervous person, but they are shocked that he killed his brother.

The suspect was brought before the Ashdod Magistrate's Court for a bail hearing.
