Nigerian Pastor Marries 2 Women In Different Churches

I guess this pastor is holding firmly to his 'belief'.  A randy pastor of a new generation church (name withheld) in Asaba, Delta State, has married two women in two different churches.

The pastor was said to have also impregnated a choir member of his church.
As reported by the LEADERSHIP,  the pastor married the first wife, a teacher, 10 years ago in one of the churches in Asaba. He was said to have abandoned the woman and two children and disappeared to an unknown destination for several years.

His first wife, who lives around Cable Point area in Asaba, was embittered and reported the action of her husband to the general overseer of the church, where the husband worked as pastor.



She was said to have tendered various photographs of their wedding before the general overseer, who in response, told her he was not aware that the pastor in charge of the choir section wedded two women at different churches.

It was revealed that it was the fourth reported cases of randy men of God who had allegedly wedded different women in different churches in Asaba, in the last five years.

While men of God, who spoke to our correspondent condemned the unholy act of the pastor, whose name was given as St. Paul (surname withheld) and a native of Ngbolu near Asaba, they decreed that the wrath of God would be visited upon him in no distant time.

The general overseer, identified as Pastor Joseph Omogha, had announced to over 3,000 worshippers in the church that the head of the choir section had committed an abomination, accusing him of having sex with female members of the church at random.

Speaking to our correspondent, the general overseer said, “this self-acclaimed man of God who was introduced to me by a relation had impregnated a church member after marrying two women at two different churches.”

He disclosed that while he had announced the atrocities of the pastor before the congregation, certain members of the church allegedly attacked him and removed the microphone from his hand with a threat to kill him if he goes ahead with the announcement.

He disclosed that he was in the church one day when the first wife showed up with two children and brought several pictures of their wedding and added that before now, there was missing funds from the church unit account allegedly traced to him and he was issued query.

He added that instead of answering the query, he abandoned the church with his second wife.
