UK woman got her leg attached in opposite direction (See Here)

A 22-year-old woman who lost her leg to cancer has had a new knee created using her foot.

UK woman Jordan Moody was diagnosed with bone cancer two years ago after feeling pain and a lump in her leg, she told Sky News.After she thought she had beaten it, the cancer returned a second time and the only option was to remove her thigh.


However specialists asked if she was willing to try a rare procedure called a rotationplasty, which involves reattaching the foot and knee joint facing the other way.

“They basically offered the option you know where they would eliminate the thigh and take the bottom of my leg and replace it with the top but they would have to turn it 180 degrees, the reason being so my ankle joint would act like my knee joint,” she said.
