2015 : INEC distributes PVCs in 14 out of 23 LGAs in Rivers state

The distribution and collection of Permanent Voters card has started in 14 out of the 23 local Government areas in Rivers state. This disclosure was made by the resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers, Aniedi Ikowak, who made this known while briefing newsmen on the Commissions preparedness for the exercise.

Local Government areas that will not start the exercise tomorrow are Oyigbo, Akuku Toru, Asari Toru, Abua-Odua, Okirika, Bonny, Eleme and Degema local Government Area.

Mr Ikowak said the commission takes full responsibility for the lapses witnessed as a result of the delay. He said the exercise will start on Sunday, 30th November in  the 9 affected Local Government areas.
